My main focus with coaching is to help my athletes learn how to approach a workout mentally and break down the parts so they can best achieve the goals they have set for themselves.

I started playing sports at a very young age, soccer and rugby were my sports of choice. I won 3 provincial medals for rugby, a bronze in high school and 2 silver medals in university. My rugby career ended with injury which is how I found my way to CrossFit. Looking to get back in shape from surgery in 2011, I used the CrossFit Main Site workouts to start. When I moved back to Calgary from university in Montreal I started working out at a local CrossFit box.
Once in the CrossFit community I realized the importance of the coaches and their roles within the gym not only as workout facilitators but also as social support in the gym. I started coaching after helping to open up CrossFit Banff in 2013. Since then I’ve been competing in local competitions and the Open every year that I have been able. I look forward to seeing you at the RISE!
